CCS Elementary Mini-Conference

In this session an overview of legislation, HB 259, will be provided. In addition, the presenters will review background information surrounding three-cueing practices, provide rationale for changing instructional practices and address common questions related to classroom instruction.

In this session we will discuss how to best use flexible small groups to intensify core instruction and provide differentiated instruction based upon data. We will also discuss options for scheduling small group instruction.

In this session participants will walk through using a data protocol to analyze DIBELS data and develop a plan of action to address the needs of students through core instruction and/or intervention.

Do you have questions about the Science of Reading? DIBELS? LETRS? Representative from the Office of Early Learning will be available to answer questions.

In this interactive session, participants will discover how to easily integrate face-to-face and online learning to create engaging learning experiences for students. Participants will explore the power of blended learning to increase student engagement, quick-start blended learning strategies easy to implement, and examples of successful blended learning in various subjects. Participants will have an opportunity to begin designing a blended learning activity. At the conclusion of the session, participants will be equipped with practical tools and innovative ideas for blended learning implementation.
