McKinney-Vento 101: Understanding the Rights of Students Experiencing Homelessness

Find out ways to identify students experiencing homelessness, including legislation regarding enrollment, school of origin, transportation, and parent rights. Also, find out ways to support students who are unaccompanied youth and living without parents. Lastly, learn how your school social worker helps to mitigate student barriers at your school to improve student attendance.
